Jollof rice is a traditional West African dish of long-grained rice cooked in an intensely flavored sauce with blended tomato, bell pepper, Scotch bonnet pepper, warm spices, and more. This savory, spicy rice is sure to wake up your taste buds.

For a complete meal, serve it with a side of my classic coleslaw it’s a perfect balance to the heat of the rice. You can also pair it with my sheet pan shrimp  or my baked chicken pieces, which are an ideal match for this spicy, delicious side dish. 


 PEKING DUCK- CHINA/北京烤鸭 

This dish is consumed throughout China and is considered a national dish, one of the most famous traditional Chinese foods. Containing crispy duck meat, its dark color is due to the rich plum sauce which covers the duck and gives it its characteristic flavor.

Peking duck is a dish from Beijing that has been prepared since the Imperial era. The meat is characterized by its thin, crispy skin, with authentic versions of the dish serving mostly the skin and little meat, sliced in front of the diners by the cook. Ducks bred especially for the dish are slaughtered after 65 days and seasoned before being roasted in a closed or hung oven. The meat is often eaten with spring onioncucumber, and sweet bean sauce, with pancakes rolled around the fillings.


HAMBURGER- AMERICA
hamburger, or simply a burger, is a dish consisting of fillings—usually a patty of ground meat, typically beef—placed inside a sliced bun or bread roll.

 


FUL MEDAMES- EGYPT
Ful Medames which is a stew of cooked fava beans served with chopped onion, rice and tomato sauce, among others, that is usually eaten for breakfast. Internationally, falafel and baklava are perhaps better-known.



BORSCHT- RUSSIA
Borsch is a sour soup, made with meat stock, vegetables and seasonings, common in Eastern Europe and Northern Asia. In English, the word borscht is most often associated with the soup's variant of Ukrainian origin, made with red beetroots as one of the main ingredients, which give the dish its distinctive red color. The same name, however, is also used for a wide selection of sour-tasting soups without beetroots, such as sorrel-based green borschtrye-based white borscht, and cabbage borscht.




PUNJABI SAMOSAS-INDIA 
 Samosas are triangular-shaped savory pastries and are one of the most famous Indian dishes. They are typically filled with a mixture of spiced potatoes, peas, lentils, etc. The filling is enclosed in a thin, crispy pastry shell made from all-purpose flour or wheat flour.
